Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Assistant

Location: Kilburn, NW6 7JR

Salary:

32,000 - 33,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday 7:30am-5:30pm and alternate Saturdays from 7:00am - 4:00pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a Plumbing and Heating Trade Counter Assistant to join our Kilburn branch, supplying a wide range of plumbing and building materials. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert product advice, processing transactions accurately, and helping to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the trade counter.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with plumbing product inquiries and provide expert advice. Process orders accurately, handle invoicing, and manage payments efficiently. Replenish stock on the shop floor and participate in regular stock counts. Assist with deliveries to and from the store. Handle telephone inquiries effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues. Respond positively and promptly to customer needs.

Requirements:

Solid understanding of plumbing materials. Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers. Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team. The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
