Salary 40,000.00 to 48,000.00 + overtime available

At JPH Heating & Plumbing, we're looking for someone who takes real pride in diagnostics and repairs -- from simple tap swaps to complex boiler faults, blocked waste pipes to full heating replacements. These are the everyday challenges we tackle, and we need someone who thrives on them.

Most days, your work will be within 30 minutes of Portsmouth -- no long commutes. We'll handle the workload and pay you fortnightly without fail under a CIS agreement. You bring the skills, pride, and professionalism.

Duties:

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating.

Conduct regular inspections of heating systems to identify any issues or necessary repairs.

Use power tools and hand tools to assemble and install components.

Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.

Collaborate with other tradespeople (including carpenters and plumbers) to ensure seamless integration of heating systems.

Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while on-site.

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their heating needs.

Qualifications:

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in heating system installation or maintenance.

Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment is essential.

Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.

Ability to plumb and assemble various components as needed.

Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.

Willingness to perform heavy lifting as part of the role.
