Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely in both residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities



Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of heating equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools. Perform plumbing tasks related to heating installations. Weld pipes and fittings as necessary for system installations. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless integration of heating systems within buildings. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience



Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex heating systems. Familiarity with basic maths for calculations related to installations and repairs. Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.

Pay: 33,061.36-43,729.26 per year
