Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong Plumbing and Heating knowledge and be proficient in various technical skills necessary for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently in diverse environments.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance of heating equipment. Employ hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and accurately. Collaborate with plumbing teams to integrate heating systems with existing plumbing infrastructure. Execute basic carpentry tasks as necessary for system installations or modifications. Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task. Drive commercial vehicles to transport tools and equipment to various job sites as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role within the HVAC industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Capability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
