Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various plumbing & heating systems. This role involves maintenance, and repair of plumbing & heating equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The plumbing & heating Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all plumbing & heating systems operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

Maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and efficiency standards. Troubleshoot heating system issues and perform necessary repairs. Assemble components using hand tools and power tools as required. Plumb new installations and carry out modifications to existing systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while performing tasks.

Requirements

Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to weld when necessary. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Experience in commercial driving is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Previous experience in plumbing is preferred but not essential. A valid driver's licence is required for this position. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

Pay: 30,000.00-36,000.00 per year
