We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in assembling, installing, and maintaining heating systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
Assemble and install heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing heating systems to ensure optimal performance.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks, including welding and plumbing.
Conduct assessments of heating systems to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Engage in heavy lifting as required during installation and maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to facilitate comprehensive system installations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Basic maths skills for calculations related to measurements and materials.
A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment to job sites.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of the role.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
