Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating systems in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept in using various hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating systems including heat pumps, boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating. Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot heating system issues and perform necessary repairs. Assemble and install components using hand tools and power tools. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and plumbers to complete projects. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Ability to weld is a plus for certain heating system installations. Experience in assembling various components related to heating systems. A valid driving licence. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 18.00-22.00 per hour
