Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete projects efficiently. Conduct inspections of plumbing installations to identify faults or potential issues. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems effectively. Assist with carpentry tasks related to plumbing projects where necessary. Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or personnel as required. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of work completed and materials used for each project.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance within a commercial or industrial environment. Proficiency in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and reading technical diagrams. Experience in carpentry or related trades is advantageous. Valid driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles or lorries is preferred. Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to plumbing work. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
