DAJ is a fast-growing company working mainly across central Sussex that has been created by experienced hands-on Directors. You will be joining a team of customer focused dedicated engineers who pride themselves in high quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a skilled & reliable Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our growing team to support with our portfolio of Letting Agents, Private landlords and Domestic Customers. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, safety-driven and able to work independently or as part of a team to a high standard. With great communication, customer service skills, & excellent time management.
The role will include all aspects of Plumbing & Heating including Gas maintenance, servicing and Installations plus some reactive maintenance plumbing.
Key skills Required:
- Install, service, and repair gas boilers & heating systems
- Carry out safety inspections and issue relevant certificates
- Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations
- General Plumbing & Heating Works
- Maintain accurate records and job reports
- Deliver excellent customer service on every job
Key Requirements:
- ACS qualified, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, & CKR1
- City and Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing
- Full UK driving license
- Must have own hand tools
- DBS Check Required
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Experience with renewable heating systems (e.g., heat pumps)
- Additional qualifications (LPG, unvented cylinders, commercial gas)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 36,000.00-42,000.00 per year
