Job Title: Plumbing Supervisor - Site Based Herts/Beds/Bucks

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to lead plumbing installations and maintenance across construction sites. The successful candidate will manage plumbing teams and subcontractors, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage & supervise daily site activities, including workforce allocation, snagging, and preparation of QA (Quality Assurance) reports.

Interpret plumbing drawings and specifications to plan and execute work effectively.

Monitor progress and quality of plumbing installations to ensure compliance with project timelines and standards.

Liaise with managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth coordination.

Conduct inspections and pressure tests to verify system functionality and safety.

Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays.

Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and team performance.

Ensure all plumbing work complies with UK building regulations and health & safety standards.

Toolbox talks, Hot works permit plus any additional paperwork including HAV's but not limited to - Included in Friday packs as required

Manage inventory of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.

Promote safe work practices and continuous improvement across the team.

Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing or equivalent trade certification.

Minimum 5 years of plumbing supervision experience in the construction industry.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems including Gas, materials, and installation techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pump's - Preferred not essential

CSCS card - Essential

SSSTS/SMSTS certification - Preferred

Work Environment:

Site-based role.

May require extended hours or weekend work to meet project deadlines.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
