Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential improvements. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of plumbing systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters and welders, to complete projects efficiently. Adhere to safety regulations and building codes while performing all plumbing duties. Handle heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to plumbing tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Basic maths skills for measuring, calculating materials, and ensuring accurate installations. Experience with commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment. Ability to assemble various components of plumbing systems accurately. Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous for specific plumbing applications. Capability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when necessary.
