Plumbing/Gas Estimator

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotes for plumbing and gas installations, maintenance, and repair services.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Quotes & Estimates

: Generate accurate and detailed quotations for clients based on project specifications, including labour, materials, and timeframes.

Client Liaison

: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice and cost estimates.

Cost Calculation

: Calculate material, labour, and overhead costs to ensure quotes are competitive yet profitable.

Collaboration

: Work closely with the quotation and project management teams to ensure quotes align with project goals and timelines.

Stay Up-to-Date

: Keep abreast of industry trends, material costs, and regulatory changes that may impact pricing.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in estimating/plumbing and gas services, or a related field.

Strong understanding of plumbing and gas industry costs

, including materials and labour. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quotes/projects at once. Knowledge of relevant

health and safety regulations

in the plumbing and gas sector is an advantage.
