Join Our Team: Academic Mentor for Neurodiverse University Students

Are you passionate about supporting inclusive education? We're seeking empathetic and qualified individuals to work directly with university students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), ADD, or ADHD. In this freelance position, you'll provide one-on-one academic support, helping students succeed through tailored strategies and motivational coaching.

Your Role:

Partner with students to set clear academic objectives and build step-by-step plans for success. Offer practical techniques for studying, time management, organisation, and maintaining attention. Use your knowledge of neurodiversity to foster independence and confidence in learning. Champion students' unique strengths, supporting their academic growth in a personalised way.

What We're Looking For:

A teaching qualification at Level 4 or higher. Open to completing funded training focused on autism support (if not already certified). While experience with neurodiverse learners is helpful, it's not essential. A genuine commitment to inclusive education and student empowerment.

The Opportunity:

Flexible freelance hours -- perfect for professionals looking for autonomy. Sessions range from 1-2 hours weekly per student during the academic term. Work exclusively with students in university-level education.
