You'll be joining the 6th largest IT Service Provider, present in more than 70 countries. What you'll be doing:
Our requirement is for a PMO Analyst with experience of P3M3, Portfolio, Programmes and Project Management and the capability to support the portfolio of projects across the Renewables Business Unit.
The Opportunity

  • Responsible for the adherence of projects across the portfolio to comply with the PMO standards and procedures and to provide insight to senior management to help make strategic decisions around project priorities, risk, issues, resource management and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure communication to senior management in IT, Programme and Project Managers in relation to the PMO remit, roles & responsibilities, processes and value is clear, targeted, appropriate and understood.
  • Standardisation of Best Practices and the opportunity to support initiatives to improve the maturity level of a number of key processes, such as Resource Management, Benefits Management and Risks and Issues management.
  • Adhere to project standards across all projects in the portfolio, and monitor compliance of projects and programmes and highlight reports, plans, risk and issue registers and lessons learned logs, directly challenging any poor practice with consultants and managers.
  • Actively work with project and programme managers to ensure robust project management practices are being followed, aligned to the IT governance lifecycle and portfolio assurance processes, to support consistent, high-quality project delivery.
  • Understands the project roadmap and pipeline requirements to report on and validate the project and programme roadmap (progress, resource, budget, risks & issues) providing a central view to the business.
  • Perform project accounting tasks (e.g. SAP timesheet mgmt, forecast adjustments, invoicing, third party resource usage) and support project managers on financials
What experience you'll bring:
  • Experience of working in a similar role, ideally with a Consulting and IT services organisation and / or the Telecoms, Insurance, Public Sector domain(s)
  • Good working knowledge of project / programme management methodologies including both waterfall and agile
  • Good understanding and experience of project delivery and acceptance processes
  • Excellent people skills, with an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the business
  • Proficient IT skills (including MS Excel, MS Office (more generally), MS Visio
