About the role

Are you ready to lead high-impact PMO services that drive strategic transformation across a dynamic enterprise? As our new PMO Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring projects and programmes are delivered to time, cost, and quality--supporting the successful execution of our Enterprise Change Portfolio.



This is a fantastic opportunity to influence how change is delivered across the organisation, embedding best practice, building capability, and championing continuous improvement. Based in Stratford-upon-Avon, this role offers hybrid working with flexibility to suit your lifestyle.



As PMO Lead, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, targeted 1st line assurance across projects and programmes, ensuring adherence to NFU Mutual's Change Framework. You'll lead PMO teams, develop standards, and embed a culture of constructive challenge that supports successful delivery.



Key responsibilities include:



Leading assurance activities to maintain confidence in delivery and escalate risks where needed.
Supporting robust business case development and strategic alignment.
Managing PMO services across projects/programmes, ensuring plans are achievable and risks are proactively managed.
Driving consistent use of delivery methodologies, tools, and processes.
Building effective stakeholder relationships and fostering a 'one team' approach.
Leading and developing PMO teams, ensuring talent pipelines and succession planning are in place.


This role places you at the heart of change delivery, offering the chance to influence strategic outcomes and optimise delivery paths across the portfolio.

About you

You're an experienced PMO professional with a passion for driving results and enabling successful change. You bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership capability, with a track record of delivering complex transformation projects.



Your skills and experience include:



Strong background in project governance, risk management, and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel).
Experience in budget tracking and resource planning.
Proven stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

Qualifications:





P3O Practitioner (Essential)
APM Project Management Qualification (Desirable)
Management of Risk Practitioner (Desirable)
SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (Desirable)
