The Role:
We're looking for a PMS professional to join our friendly team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on field-based role with regular travel to practices where you will provide tailored training, guidance and a point of contact support to practice teams as they transition to the new system.
Acting as the front line face of the PMS delivery team, you will work closely with practice colleagues to ensure each practice receives a smooth, professional and successful go live experience. This is a client facing role requiring excellent communication, adaptability and an ability to train users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
What you'll be doing...
1. Onsite PMS Training
Deliver engaging, practical training sessions to clinical and administrative teams at veterinary practices.
Adapt delivery style to suit different roles and learning preferences within the practice.
Provide real time support during go live to resolve issues, reinforce learning and build confidence.
Act as a visible and approachable point of contact onsite, managing expectations and reassuring users during change.
Escalate any technical or adoption issues in a timely manner.
2. Customer Engagement & Success
Build strong relationships with practice managers and key team members to ensure confidence in the system and delivery approach.
Gather feedback on training and system usability to inform future improvements.
Identify and address gaps in understanding or usage post go live to support long term system usage and adoption.
Maintain a professional and positive presence in all interactions, representing the VetPartners brand.
3. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the wider PMS team to share learnings and support coordinated delivery.
Contribute to the development and improvement of training resources, checklists and toolkits.
Provide suggestions on improving the delivery process based on real world experience and feedback.
Participate in internal handovers, briefings and debriefs to ensure practices are supported throughout the full delivery lifecycle into hyper care and business as usual support services.
So, who are we looking for?
We're looking for a confident and engaging communicator, someone with excellent interpersonal skills who's comfortable leading training sessions and interacting with people at all levels. You'll need to be a real team-player with high attention to detail and strong organisation skills.
You'll have experience delivering software training or leading onsite system implementations, with strong working knowledge of at least one PMS system (e.g. ezyVet), plus previous experience in a veterinary, healthcare or similar customer-facing setting. As regular travel to our practices (roughly once per month) and central support office in York (once a quarter) is required, you'll need to have a full UK driving licence and be willing travel and stay overnight when required.
