About The Role

PEI Group is seeking a creative and technically skilled Podcast Editor to lead the production of engaging audio content across our Special Projects and wider Editorial teams. This role is instrumental in shaping and elevating our podcast offerings, working closely with reporters, editors, and commercial teams to produce high-quality episodes that resonate with our global audience. The ideal candidate will bring strong audio editing expertise, storytelling instincts, and a collaborative mindset, along with a passion for growing digital media channels in a B2B environment.



Your main responsibilities will include:

Produce, edit and polish podcasts Assist and coach reporters in recording, scripting and producing podcast episodes Monitor listenership figures and other data to produce reports and assist sales team Manage sponsored episode projects and liaise with clients Periodically arrange recordings and meet guests at outside studio. Produce, manage and monitor dynamic ads for podcasts ###

Experience

Relevant Bachelor's degree or experience required Professional-level proficiency in podcast editing with Adobe Audition is critical Expert familiarity with both remote and in-person audio recording tools and techniques. Familiarity with Riverside.FM a plus. Demonstrable experience in podcast production and editing Ability to juggle several projects at once and coordinate with journalists, the production team, sales team and design team to meet deadlines A basic understanding of the alternative assets and private equity industry Ability to work with commercial partners to produce sponsored podcasts Ability to coach and assist journalists who have little-to-no experience in audio production in producing podcast episodes Proficiency with CMS such as WordPress, Dropbox Experience with podcast platforms such as Podbean, Apple Podcasts Connect and Spotify Advanced familiarity with finance industry concepts and terminology Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of podcast industry trends, developments and technology Familiarity with and adherence to journalistic principles
