About the company:
I'm looking for an associate Podiatrist to join me in my established practice on a self employed basis. The clinic is called Foot Centric and is located in Hartshill, Stoke-on-Trent. The role is 2 days per week, on a fee per treatment basis (not fee share) earning potential is 37 per hour . The days will be Mondays and Fridays . The hours are 9am-6pm , but there is some level of flexibility here, which can be discussed at interview stage. Podiatry treatments currently offered at Foot Centric :
Routine podiatry
Nail surgery
Warm wax therapy
Verruca treatments
The ideal candidate must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to adapt to the specific requirements that private practice brings.
Exemplary communication skills are a must as well as a passion for all things Podiatry. Please note this is an associate position, therefore, the candidate needs to supply their own consumables and instruments.
Job Responsibilities: Treating all foot related conditions ( we focus predominantly on doing routine podiatry and on doing it well) , reception duties, including taking payment, rebooking , managing own case load, cleaning & instrument decontamination.
There is no expectation for the candidate to do home visits.
Qualifications: HCPC registered , relevant podiatry/chiropody qualification and own insurance.
Two references will be required.
Some previous private practice experience is preferred and advantageous.
