Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower limbs to diagnose conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring the highest standards of care. Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate therapies for foot-related ailments. Educate patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Stay updated on the latest advancements in podiatry through continuous education and training.

Skills

Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively about their conditions and treatments. Proficiency in IT systems for managing patient records and scheduling appointments. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to ensure clear communication with patients and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a patient-centred approach. Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex conditions related to the feet and lower limbs.
