We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our Pharmacy Team. The individual will have an understanding of business and be prepared to help their sector of the business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower limbs, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower limbs to diagnose conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric conditions. Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Perform surgical procedures when necessary, adhering to best practices in patient safety. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards. Stay updated on advancements in podiatry and related fields through continuous professional development.

Requirements

A recognised degree in Podiatry or equivalent qualification. Registration with the relevant professional body. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients. Proficiency in IT systems for maintaining patient records and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. A compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life. Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
