We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an experienced Podiatrist to join our friendly and supportive team as Clinical Lead. If you have a passion for managing the high-risk foot and possess specialist expertise in wound management, diabetes care, and vascular assessments and treatments, we would love to hear from you.
This post is part time 18.75 hours per week.

Main duties of the job
In this pivotal role, you will not only offer expert clinical advice to colleagues and other healthcare professionals but also have the chance to run your own clinics. You will play a key part in guiding and supervising the team, sharing your specialist knowledge, and providing invaluable support in delivering a high quality and safe service to our patients.
There are also opportunities to collaborate with the multi-disciplinary foot team at the local hospital, expanding both your clinical experience and professional knowledge in a truly dynamic environment.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
BSc Honours or equivalent in Podiatric Medicine
Registered with the Health & Care Professions Council
A minimum of 5 years post registration experience
Desirable criteria
A postgraduate module at master's level in either Diabetes or Wound Care

Knowledge and Expertise
Essential criteria
Must demonstrate general level of knowledge in all Podiatric Specialities and medical conditions that impact on foot health.
Demonstrable effective clinical leadership with knowledge and understanding and application of Leadership Theories
Excellent communication skill: o Working with staff o Working with new patients and carers o Working with GP's o Presentations o Written Reports o
Proven ability to challenge current practices and freedom to make change in light of evidence-based recommendations
Knowledge, understanding and the ability to interpret and implement local and national policy direction relevant to practice
Proven experience of clinical audit, skill and knowledge
Required to facilitate staff to undertake clinical audit
Empowering staff to manage and support change
Relevant clinical expertise to support and facilitate clinical development and innovation
Evidence of sound IT skills
