What you will gain:

As part of the apprenticeship, you will be working towards a workplace training plan within our organisation as well as working towards the apprenticeship framework components with Wolverhampton College. Over the course of a 3-year period the candidate will achieve the following qualification:


Science Manufacturing Technical Apprenticeship Level 3

The role of the Polymer Engineering Apprentice:

Assist in setting of the Injection moulding machines to the optimum conditions to achieve quality components. Assisting in the execution of Colour, Insert, printer and mould changes. Assist in the quality inspection and testing processes To assist in running and troubleshooting of our automated mould lines and Kuka robots. To assist our Senior Operators in ensuring all shift production requirements are met. Assisting with staff coverage during breaks and championing and maintaining a 5s culture.

Hours of work:

You will be working on the Panama Continental Shift pattern, which consists of 12-hour shifts alternating between days and nights, including weekends and bank holidays.
