About Floating Pontoon Hire

Floating Pontoon Hire is a long-established and growing supplier of modular floating pontoons for commercial, construction and event projects. Based in Lymington, Hampshire, we deliver innovative marine solutions for a range of practical and interesting projects across the UK.

The Role

We are recruiting Pontoon Technicians to join our skilled team. You will be responsible for the installation, removal and maintenance of floating pontoon systems at various locations across the UK. The role also involves maintaining company safety boats, outboard motors, vehicles, and trailers based at our Lymington depot.

This is an exciting and varied role with a mix of site-based work and time spent at our depot. We are looking for motivated, hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in and around water, with the ability to solve problems on the spot and lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and remove modular floating pontoons for commercial, construction, and event projects Maintain company safety boats, outboard motors, vehicles, and trailers at the Lymington depot Lead and coordinate teams on-site to ensure smooth operations Troubleshoot and solve any issues that arise on-site or during maintenance Work away from home on a regular basis Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

About You

Motivated and hard-working with a team-oriented attitude Good communicator, able to lead teams and coordinate effectively Strong, physically fit and comfortable working on water-based projects Practical problem-solver with a hands-on approach Reliable and professional with a keen eye for detail

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence Comfortable with working away from home and at various UK locations
