Job Overview
As a Pool and Gym Assistant, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all members and guests. You'll support daily operations of the pool and gym areas, assist with customer service, and ensure health and safety standards are upheld.
Responsibilities
Supervise pool and gym areas to ensure safety and proper usage Provide friendly and professional customer service to members and guests Monitor and enforce facility rules and regulations Assist with setting up and maintaining gym equipment Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of pool, gym, and changing areas Support lifeguards and fitness instructors as needed Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when required Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance, and attendance Promote facility programs, classes, and services
Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team First Aid and CPR certification (required or willing to obtain) Pool Lifeguard qualification (desirable but not essential) Experience in a leisure, fitness, or customer service role (preferred) Basic knowledge of fitness equipment and pool safety
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Work Location: In person
