Lush Spa - are looking for passionate and enthusiastic members of staff who wish to train and qualify in body massage with a view to a career as a hybrid Lush Spa therapist.

. On completion of the course, you will be required to undertake a hybrid role within the spa store.
The hybrid role would allow this person to work within the spa but also display their excitement and knowledge for the spa project whilst driving the sales and business from the shop floor, spa reception or elsewhere within the Spa Store.
Course outline and Requirements:
This is a unique opportunity to earn an internationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Swedish Body Massage, which is governed by an external company - VTCT.
Therefore the candidate should have great knowledge and experience within Lush Cosmetics and have a deep understanding and passion for our Spa treatments and concepts.
On successful completion of the VTCT course you will receive detailed feedback on your performance during this training. This will then determine your progression to become a Lush Spa Therapist. The Lush Spa therapist position is
not
guaranteed until successful in this final stage.
For applicants that are multilingual, the course will require a good level of spoken and written English as it is led and assessed in this language.
Hours:
Virtual training will require you to fulfil a minimum of 25 hours per week. If your contracted hours are more than this, your manager will ensure you meet your contracted hours in shop floor shifts.
However you will have

of coursework to complete within a short time frame.
Once accepted on the course and as soon as you can - Please speak with your management team to ensure you can create a training/ working plan to cope with the large workload you will have, to complete the coursework.
There will be a reasonable amount of homework to do in your own time and we want to ensure each individual has a plan to manage their time well.
Practical training will require you to work 35+ hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Accommodation:
Accommodation is provided by Lush when training in Poole.
Travel:
Travel to and from Poole will be organised and funded by Lush.
Relocation:
Relocation packages will be discussed once you have been offered a spa contract. Time to find accommodation will be given once a spa position has been confirmed.

The VTCT training is scheduled to start
virtually on:
Monday 3rd November 2025
This will be 5 hour sessions (typically 9am - 2pm), Monday - Friday, for 3 weeks.
Practical training will commence on:
Monday 24th November 2025
Monday - Friday: 8:15am - 4pm for 3 weeks.
Compulsory Lush Spa Training:
Monday 5th January 2026
Monday - Friday: 8:15am - 4pm for 3 weeks.
Course Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Be fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
At least 3 months experience working within Lush.
No previous qualifications in massage are required, however a keen interest in Anatomy & Physiology is a bonus.

You are paid for your Guided Learning Hours in training.
Full, in depth - 5 training from a team awarded excellence in their feild. If successful - Candidates will be awarded a full qualification in Swedish body massage.
As internationally recognised, qualified massage therapists - Candidates can progress with learning Lush Spa Treatments.
With this new career, therapists will learn a variety of new skills, be given opportunities for CPD and learn about and showcase innovative products with our clients.
All massage therapists will be given Alexander Technique lessons as part of their training to aid the correct use of their body whilst working.
Learners will be immersed in inspiration, have the opportunity to meet the Spa Team, Directors and R&D specialists during training.
