What You'll Do
As Port Manager, you'll: Provide
strategic leadership
for all operations at Immingham Bulk Terminal, including port management, safety, environment, manufacturing, and despatch.
Oversee
end-to-end processes
from inbound goods to outbound delivery, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate across functions and with external partners to maintain a seamless supply chain.
Lead your team through
major change programmes
, ensuring engagement and performance.
Manage budgets and deliver against
weekly, monthly, and annual plans
.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in
24/7 port or marine operations
of significant scale and complexity.
Strong
safety leadership
with a track record of managing high-risk environments.
Expertise in
commodity unloading/loading operations
and operational management.
Experience driving
continuous improvement and large-scale change
.
Degree-level education in
Engineering, Logistics, Business Management, or Marine Operations
.
Ability to lead a
multi-disciplined, shift-based workforce
and align manufacturing objectives with business goals.
Knowledge of
Health & Safety legislation
and experience in a
unionised environment
.
Familiarity with
Six Sigma
and continuous improvement methodologies (advantageous).
