About the role

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions? As a Portfolio Data & Insights Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in enabling data-led decision making across NFU Mutual's Enterprise Change Portfolio. This is a high-impact role that supports the successful delivery of change initiatives by providing expert analysis, performance tracking, and visual storytelling to senior stakeholders.



In this dynamic and strategically important role, you'll:



Deliver insightful analysis and reporting across the Enterprise Change Portfolio, using advanced data manipulation and visualisation techniques.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify analytical needs and provide thematic insights that enhance decision making.
Monitor key performance indicators and resource allocation trends, offering recommendations to optimise delivery outcomes.
Lead the production of accurate, timely, and engaging reports that support portfolio governance and performance tracking.
Support budget forecasting and expenditure monitoring to ensure financial alignment with departmental objectives.
Coach and mentor colleagues to build data literacy and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Analyse programme and project controls to identify risks, issues, and dependencies, helping to mitigate potential impacts.

About you

You'll bring a blend of technical expertise and collaborative spirit, with a strong foundation in data analysis and stakeholder engagement. Your ability to translate complex data into compelling insights will be key to your success. Your skills will include:



Proficiency in Power BI and Excel for data visualisation and modelling.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and present findings clearly.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven problem-solving capabilities
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and influence outcomes.
Team leadership/coaching experience

Qualifications & Experience:





Management of Portfolios Foundation (Essential).
P3O Practitioner and Management of Portfolios Practitioner (Desirable).
Experience producing briefing materials for governance and leadership teams.
Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to lead through others.
