Join the Close Brothers Property Team and make a real impact. You will play a key role in managing client accounts and building strong relationships with professionals, using your initiative to find practical solutions whenever opportunities arise. As part of our collaborative Property team, we are looking for someone who brings experience in maintaining full compliance and keeping records accurate and up to date. If you have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset and a professional approach, we would love to hear from you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out thorough due diligence on newly approved loan facilities, making sure every lending requirement is met and all credit controls and procedures are followed with care.
Take ownership of your Line Manager's loan portfolio, ensuring payments are processed and receipts recorded promptly and accurately.
Keep customer account records up to date in the Lending System, safeguarding the integrity of the Bank's data and working closely with colleagues in Credit, Finance and Operations.
Join internal and external meetings alongside your Line Manager, capturing key points, preparing minutes and producing clear follow-up actions and correspondence.
Support the preparation of Credit Committee papers and attend meetings to seek approval for new facilities, renewals and portfolio amendments and presenting papers.
Draft and issue Facility, Amendment and Renewal Letters, following up to ensure everything is completed smoothly.
Prepare payments for authorisation at the completion of new facilities or for stage and interim payments, confirming that all lending parameters and special requirements have been addressed and signed off by the right people.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Proven experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Self-assurance in prioritising tasks and managing your own workload, even when things get busy.
A self-driven approach with excellent time management skills.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially strong skills in Excel.
