ABOUT THE ROLE





We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Product Manager to join the innovative and vibrant Content team in our English Language Teaching (ELT) Division.



This role will be responsible for leading on the overall strategy and business case for a portfolio of products within the Primary and Pre-Primary sector, ensuring the development of pedagogically effective content for a, tailored to customer needs across delivery modes (print, digital, blended etc.), to time and budget, that deliver outstanding commercial outcomes.



You will be leading, managing and developing a team of Managing Editors and Content Development Editors, and other internal / external specialists, to ensure performance is effectively managed and individuals are achieving their best potential.



You will also lead the collaboration across ELT to research, plan, commission and manage a Portfolio of Products successfully through the product development process - delivering innovative and exciting outcomes to advance knowledge and learning.



We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.

ABOUT YOU





We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about ELT product for young learners and very young learners. You are ideally already a part of the ELT world and have some experience in Portfolio product management. This is a leadership role, so we want you to be both a role model to your team and also a good team player.



To be successful in this role, you will ideally have/be:


Working with a high degree of integrity, trusted to collaborate and make sound commercial judgments autonomously. Openness to new opportunities and challenge Adaptable to a changing work environment and global market, with a Innovative and open mindset Financially and commercially astute, with experience of setting and managing budgets and building strategic and commercially viable business cases. Substantial experience, and proven track record, in developing successful multi-modal teaching and learning content, editorial educational publishing and managing authors / writers. Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills A strong customer focus at all times, staying abreast of market and customer needs.
