Duties

Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with curriculum standards Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages active learning and participation Support students' social and emotional well-being by promoting positive behaviour and inclusivity Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and share best practices Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavioural issues Organise extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns

Requirements

Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent recognised by the appropriate educational authority Proven experience in teaching or working with students across relevant age groups Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage diverse classroom needs effectively Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage students, parents, and colleagues Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment Flexibility, patience, and resilience in handling classroom challenges Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures is desirable
