We are looking for a
passionate
and
proactive
Positive Behaviour Support Assistant to support adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a college setting. The successful candidate with support the development and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support across Henshaws specialist college employing a multidisciplinary approach with Education, Care and Therapy teams.
They will support the Lead PBS Practitioner and PBS Practitioner in managing a caseload of students and be involved with the development and embedding of the science, principles, and practice associated with PBS in line with the PBS competence framework.
The successful candidate will:
Support the development of functional Positive Behaviour Support plans under the supervision and guidance of the Lead PBS Practitioner.
Attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary meetings
Assist in the measurement and monitoring of the effectiveness of behavioural support plans.
Salary:
13.94 per hour, Annual 24,159.13

Requirements:

Level 4 Qualification in PBS or willingness to work towards.
Good standard of Maths and English
Knowledge, understanding and experience of nature and causes of behaviours of distress in young people and developing successful strategies to overcome these challenges.
