Project Coordinator
to manage the scheduling, logistics, and coordination of our filming and media activities.
About the role
The
Project Coordinator
will oversee the planning and organisation of all video and media shoots across Positive Signs' departments. You'll ensure everything runs smoothly -- from booking presenters and arranging equipment, to liaising with Deaf talent, translators, and film crews. This is a vital behind-the-scenes role for someone who loves detail, structure, and problem-solving, and who thrives in a creative, fast-moving Deaf-led environment.
Key Responsibilities:

(awareness campaigns and events)

(podcast and studio recording sessions)

BSL Translation
? Liaise with internal teams to plan shoot schedules and ensure key people are available.
? Book and confirm interpreters, presenters, and Deaf contributors.
? Manage studio space bookings and ensure the correct equipment is set up (lighting, cameras, backdrops).
? Support with obtaining model release forms and ensuring all consent is documented.
? Maintain shoot calendars and communicate updates to all departments.
? Work closely with the Creative Lead, Videographer, and Social Media team to prepare filming briefs and call sheets.
? Ensure all shoots comply with accessibility and safety standards.
? Act as on-site coordinator during filming days -- welcoming participants, keeping to schedule, and liaising between departments.
? Track production progress and follow up post-shoot to ensure edits, captions, and approvals are completed on time.
