Job Description

The Post 16 Receptionist & Administrator at Redland Green School, Bristol plays a vital role in ensuring a professional and approachable environment for students, staff, and visitors. This position is responsible for delivering a high-quality reception service while providing essential administrative support to the Post 16 learning community.

The role demands strong communication skills, confidentiality, and proactive problem-solving, as it involves liaising with students aged 16 to 19, staff, and external stakeholders. A key focus is managing student attendance, handling safeguarding responsibilities, and facilitating efficient operations across multiple learning communities.

From overseeing daily enquiries and verifying visitors to maintaining accurate records and supporting key school events, the role requires initiative, organisational skills, and teamwork. By ensuring seamless administration and a welcoming reception area, the Post 16 Receptionist & Administrator contributes directly to the success of students and staff alike.
