Job Description

The position entails the successful candidate to work in both the Post Office and within the store.
Previous experience working in a Post Office is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Access NI disclosure being completed and returned to us by Post Office Ltd.
Post Office Duties Post office counter clerks perform a wide range of counter and customer service duties. They process traditional post office services such as: selling stamps, weighing, measuring and mailing letters and parcels. Post office clerks also deal with a range of services including: bill payments, car tax renewals, foreign currency and banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide excellent customer service standards To operate the till in line with company till operation and cash handling procedures To sell and demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering queries and suggesting products as part of the customer transaction Assist store management with the day to day running of the store To assist in driving sales forward and achieving sales targets Comply with all legislation in relation to the store, in particular health and safety To assist in stocktaking procedures
Hours of Work:
8-16 hr contract available (and additional holiday cover)
Applicants should be
fully flexible
to work preferablymorning, evening and Saturdays
