Hours:

Shift patterns will be confirmed prior to starting, but you will work five days over the week with two days off. Usual start times are between 07:30 and 10:00 Monday to Saturday. Flexibility is required as per business needs.

Your Role

As a postal apprentice, you will start your day at the delivery office, sorting mail and collecting post before heading out. You will:

Take ownership of your delivery route, ensuring timely deliveries. Act as a brand ambassador, providing excellent customer service.

Learn While You Earn

Complete the apprenticeship in 13 months and gain your Level 6 Postal Apprenticeship certification. You will have access to online learning, video tutorials, 1-2-1 coaching, and practical learning opportunities supported by your dedicated learning coach.

About You

Enjoy staying fit with up to 4.5 hours of walking per day. Love the outdoors, whatever the weather. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills. Friendly and ready to go the extra mile for customers. Self-sufficient but also enjoy working with others. Resilient and able to handle pressure. Proud to make a difference in your community.

Requirements

National 5 in Maths and English A-D grade. A driving licence in your current home address with 6 points or less.
