Develop machine learning of cellular automata models with applications to in vitro developmental biology.
The Opportunity:
This post is full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
The salary for this post is
41,064 to 48,822
per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Undergraduate degree in physics, mathematics, or computer science
A PhD or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in the field of machine learning for biology and mathematical modelling
Strong planning and organising skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to build rapport with colleagues and collaborators.
Knowledge of high performance computing environments to train machine learning models.
