The Opportunity:
We are looking for an/a motivated interdisciplinary researcher with relevant specialised expertise covering all the essential aspects of the project detailed below.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
12 months fixed Postdoctoral Research Fellow post working at the IRR. The post holder will contribute to deliver fundamental insights into glaucoma biology seeking to develop new therapeutic opportunities for glaucoma
Your skills and attributes for success:
Appropriate degree, with relevant post-graduate research experience and accumulated knowledge
A PhD (or near completion) or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience in the field of molecular cell biology
Prior working with holographic microscopy
Prior working with confocal and FLIM based microscopy
Prior working with microfluidic setups and cellular responses to pressure
Prior working with cell cultures, including primary
