About the role

The project: Investigating potential health and health equality impacts of planning deregulation - the case of permitted development housing in England.
We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to undertake writing and dissemination activities relating to the qualitative data collected for Work Package 2, as well as supporting dissemination of the project more generally as required including in relation to possible policy changes and regulatory levers which may help address some of the issues identified by the residents.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 6 months (January 2026 - June 2026).

About you

The successful candidate will have a submitted or awarded PhD in a relevant field, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of urban planning, the built environment or public health. They will be enthusiastic about interdisciplinary collaboration and confident in upholding key policies, including those relating to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, data governance and risk assessment procedures.
