About the role
We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Oxford Secure and Advanced Computer Architecture Research (OSCAR) group at the Department of Engineering Science (central Oxford). The post is funded by UKRI EPSRC and is fixed term for 24 months, with possible extension for an additional 12 months.
You will be contributing to a new EPSRC-funded project focused on investigating new attack vectors and security mechanisms in chiplet-based architectures. The project will be performed in collaboration with other academic and industrial partners and will innovate new mechanisms to secure future computing systems at lower costs and performance overheads.
About you
You should possess a PhD/DPhil in Engineering, Computer Science or other related field, (with the possibility to underfill at Grade 6 (34,982 - 40,855 p.a.) if candidate holds a relevant degree and is working on PhD/DPhil) together with established knowledge in computer architecture and hardware security, significant coding experience (both Python and C/C++), and a record of working in a Linux environment and related scripting languages.
