Applications are invited for a Post-Doctoral Teaching Associate post in the Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London, starting 5 January 2026.


The post holder will engage in teaching, supervision, and assessment across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The role is mainly student facing and is ideally suited for people who have recently completed a PhD and who are interested in developing their educational skills within a supportive department. They should be enthusiastic about delivering effective high-quality teaching and supervision of student research projects at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The ideal candidate will have expertise in more applied areas of psychology (e.g., clinical, forensic, health, applied social, developmental, or occupational), although applicants with expertise in other areas will also be considered.


The post holders will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching. There is a strong research environment, with the Department ranked 3rd in the UK in the 2021 REF for our world-leading and internationally excellent research. We consistently achieve high levels of student satisfaction in the NSS.
