Staff Nurse - Recovery & Post-Operative Care

Location:

Cadogan Clinic, Sloane Street, Chelsea, London

Contract:

Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

Salary:

Up to 37,000 DOE + 30/hr overtime + enhancements/on-call payments

Shifts:

Variable shifts on a rota basis with on-call participation - no overnight shifts (complimentary taxi provided after 10pm finishes)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated

Recovery & Post-Operative Care Nurse

to join our high-performing clinical team, working across three state-of-the-art theatres and our nurse-led dressings clinic.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of the patient journey -- supporting safe recovery immediately after surgery, monitoring and managing post-operative needs, and delivering expert wound care in clinic. You'll work closely with our consultants, anaesthetists, and surgical teams to ensure continuity of care, smooth day-case surgery pathways, and best-in-class outcomes.

What You'll Bring

Essential

NMC-registered Nurse with eligibility to practise in the UK 1+ year of experience in a pre-/post-operative surgical ward 1+ year of experience working in a Recovery or PACU setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Desirable

Experience in wound care and post-surgical dressings Previous work in the private healthcare sector Phlebotomy skills IT literacy, including use of electronic clinical records Ability to manage and prioritise a constantly evolving workload
