We are currently seeking Powder Coating Paint Sprayer to join our team. The company would prefer a skilled and experienced individual but will consider individuals with industrial experience with some knowledge of powder coating.

As a Powder Coating Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for powder coating and packing our diverse range of in-house manufactured mild steel products, ensuring a premium finish. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting short lead times while adhering to quality and safety standards. Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with a supportive team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. Monitoring of wash tank chemical concentrations on performance. Apply powder coating using spray equipment, ensuring even coverage and thickness. Setting track speeds and curing oven temperatures. Inspect 'first-off' finished products for cure, coverage and finish and make any necessary adjustments. Continuous inspection of production batches to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain and clean equipment and work area. Control of paint stocks and stock levels. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 years of experience in powder coating or experience of high paced factory work. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes. Knowledge of powder coating materials, equipment, and techniques an advantage. Experience of running a conveyor line paint plant would be an advantage. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
