About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, practical Supervisor to join our busy Powder Coating department.
This is a key role in one of our busiest areas - you'll be responsible for organising daily workloads, keeping production on track, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting a team of powder coaters and production operatives.

Responsibilities
Supervise daily powder coating operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Allocate work, monitor progress, and support a team of powder coaters and production operatives.
Carry out and oversee the full powder coating and quality inspection process.
Lead by example - hands-on approach expected, particularly during busy periods.
Enforce site rules on PPE, safety and housekeeping at all times.
Liaise with the department manager to plan and prioritise workloads
About You
Ideally, you'll have:
Experience in manual powder coating in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of quality control and health and safety requirements
Previous experience with overhead cranes and forklifts
Experience supervising or leading a team in a production environment
The ability to organise, motivate, and communicate clearly with others
Flexibility to work overtime and weekend mornings as needed
We're also open to training the right person who has:
Supervisory or team leader experience in a similar industrial/steel trade (e.g. wet paint, fabrication, etc.)
Experience in a busy production environment
A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn powder coating processes
Reliability, attention to detail, and focus on safety and team work

15.13 per hour + regular paid overtime (time and a half/double time)
