We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Powder Paint facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage a team effectively. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in Powder Painting to advance their careers in a dynamic environment. The Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring safety standards, maintaining productivity, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience.
Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
Oversee the use of paint equipment ensuring proper safety procedures are followed.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment to maintain quality standards and safety compliance.
Assist with tasks and projects as required.
Provide training and guidance to team members on technical procedures, including the use of paint equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of paint and consumables for production activities.
Enforce health and safety regulations across the site, promoting a safe working environment for all staff.
Collaborate with management to plan work schedules, optimise processes, and implement improvements.
Maintain accurate records related to production output, safety incidents, and team performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Supervision role preferably in a paint line.
Powder Paint knowledge with hands-on experience using ITW Gema equipment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Previous supervisory or team leader experience is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills with the capacity to motivate staff and convey instructions clearly. This role is suitable for candidates who are organised, proactive, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in their work environment.
