Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that enhance our data analysis capabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with various analytical tools and technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Duties



Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses. Utilize tools such as AWS, Azure Data Lake, Hadoop, and Apache Hive to manage big data environments. Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Looker to visualize key performance indicators. Implement database design best practices using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other relational databases. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct model training and develop predictive analytics solutions using Python and Spark. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis while ensuring data integrity. Develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration between systems. Participate in Agile development processes to ensure timely delivery of projects. Utilize tools like Talend and Informatica for data integration tasks.

Experience



Proven experience in a Business Intelligence Developer role or similar position. Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in database design and management. Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Spark is highly desirable. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Data Lake is a plus. Knowledge of analytics tools like Looker or similar BI platforms is preferred. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python is beneficial. Understanding of linked data concepts and shell scripting (Bash/Unix) is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively. Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
