Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager within the FP&A team, you'll lead a high-performing team of analysts, transforming data into strategic insights. As a Power BI expert, you'll establish a centre of excellence in financial and transactional analysis, driving best practices that empower informed decision-making across the business.

Leading and developing a team of analysts to drive best in class financial analytics, and promote a collaborative and knowledge sharing approach within the team Stay updated with the latest analytical tools and methodologies to enhance the quality of insights Develop a core reporting suite in Power BI, delivering insightful reports and dashboard which provided compelling and accurate information to allow stakeholders to make informed decisions Establishing good working relationships with teams inside and outside of the function Ensure the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of regular business reporting, conducting regular reviews with finance peers and senior stakeholders of the reports to ensure they are fit for purpose, driving continuous improvement. Provide ad-hoc data analytical support to the wider Finance and business teams when required to support key projects and initiatives. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making, including analysing profitability by sales channel and recommending key actions for improvement. Driving the transition to a new data platform and ensuring accuracy of data reporting, managing stakeholders throughout the process. Supporting ad hoc Kingfisher requests when required. * Continuously improve our ways of working, and approaches to analytics - ensuring that we are efficient and effective through implementing changes which support this and respond to business need
