to join our innovative development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the
design, development, and testing of inverter systems and associated power electronics hardware
, with a strong emphasis on
PCB design using Altium Designer
. This role offers the opportunity to work on advanced power conversion and control systems, contributing to product architecture, design validation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in power electronics circuit design, gate-drive topologies, thermal management, and practical PCB implementation for high-power systems.
Responsibilities
Design and develop inverter systems and power electronic circuits
, including DC-DC, DC-AC, and AC-AC conversion topologies.
Create detailed schematics and multilayer PCB layouts in Altium Designer
, ensuring best practices for creepage/clearance, EMC, grounding, and thermal performance.
Perform
component selection, derating analysis, and design calculations
for power semiconductors, magnetics, gate drivers, sensing circuits, and protection systems.
Conduct
simulation and analysis of power circuits
, including switching behaviour, losses, and thermal performance.
Support
prototype build, bring-up, debugging, and validation testing
using laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and HV test equipment.
Lead
root-cause analysis and design improvements
for field or production issues.
Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration and design-for-manufacture.
Ensure all designs comply with
industry standards and safety requirements
related to high-voltage and power conversion systems.
Qualifications
Degree in
Electrical / Electronic Engineering
or a related discipline.
Proven industry experience in
power electronics design
, ideally involving inverter or motor-drive systems.
Strong proficiency with Altium Designer
for schematic capture and PCB layout.
Hands-on experience with
power semiconductors
(IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC/GaN preferred).
Knowledge of
gate-drive design, protection circuits, EMI/EMC practices, and thermal management
.
Experience building and testing
high-voltage or high-power prototypes
safely.
Familiarity with simulation tools such as
LTspice, PLECS, or SIMetrix
is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience collaborating in cross-disciplinary engineering environments.
This position is ideal for a motivated engineer passionate about advancing
power electronics and inverter technologies
through innovative, reliable, and production-ready design.
