Job title: Power Platform & Azure Solution Architect
Clearance: Eligible for NPPV Level 2 (policing) or willing to undergo similar vetting
The role:
You'll be the technical authority across Microsoft Power Platform and Azure integration. You'll define the target architecture, security model, ALM, and integration patterns--balancing pragmatism with robust standards suitable for sensitive data and audited environments.
Requirements
What you'll do:

• Produce HLD/LLD for solutions and the Centre of Excellence (CoE): environments, DLP, connector governance, security roles, data model, NFRs.

• Favour API-first designs; define when/where Power Automate Desktop (PAD) is appropriate and how to harden it.

• Stand up solution-based ALM: pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub), solution pack/unpack (PAC CLI), env. variables, connection references.

• Define observability: Application Insights, Azure Monitor, success/failure KPIs, correlation IDs, alerting.

• Design secure integrations on Azure: API Management, Service Bus, Functions/Logic Apps, Key Vault (no secrets in code).

• Lead TDA and security assurance (threat model, DPIA/TRA inputs, SyOps alignment).

• Review code/flows/selectors, performance and resilience patterns (idempotency, retries, dead-lettering).

• Guide release strategies (blue/green, canary, feature flags) and rollbacks.

• Coach engineers, set patterns/templates, and keep the pattern library current.

What you'll bring:

• 7+ years in solution/technical architecture; multiple Power Platform/Azure deliveries in production.

• Deep knowledge of Dataverse, model-driven/canvas apps, cloud flows, PAD; plus Azure APIM, Service Bus, Functions/Logic Apps, Key Vault.

• Hands-on ALM with Azure DevOps or GitHub (YAML pipelines, gates, approvals).

• Solid security mindset: least privilege, PIM, DLP, secrets management, data classification.

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement--able to defend design decisions.

Nice to have: PCF components, RAG/AI patterns with responsible AI controls, experience in regulated/public sector.
