About the Role

ParaTech Coating UK Ltd is seeking a

Power Platform & Systems Integration Engineer

to drive our digital transformation and secure systems integration programme.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll

design, develop, and secure the next generation of our business systems

-- connecting operational processes, quality management, finance, and compliance workflows using

Microsoft Power Platform

(Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Power Pages).

You'll play a key part in ParaTech's journey toward

ISO 27001, AS9100, and ISO 14001 accreditation

, embedding security, auditability, and data integrity across all digital systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and integration

of business-critical applications using Microsoft Power Platform -- including Power Apps, Power BI dashboards, automated workflows, and Power Pages portals.

Integrate Power Platform with Sage 50 and/or Microsoft Business Central

, ensuring seamless data flow across finance, operations, and quality management. Build secure, scalable solutions aligned with

MOD Secure by Design (SbD)

and

CyDR (Cyber Defence Readiness)

principles. Develop real-time dashboards that enhance

operational visibility

, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the

Quality, Compliance, and Operations teams

to automate controls, traceability logs, and risk reports supporting

ISO 27001 and AS9100

frameworks. Design and maintain

Power Pages portals

for customer communication, document access, and feedback collection. Embed

secure coding and data handling

standards across all applications to meet MOD and Defence Cyber Protection Partnership (DCPP) requirements. Stay current with

Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, and emerging AI automation tools

, identifying opportunities to introduce intelligent process optimisation and predictive analytics. Create robust documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and lifecycle management records for audit traceability. Contribute to future

AI-enhanced digitalisation projects

, such as predictive workload planning and automated quality review workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience developing with

Microsoft Power Platform

(Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse). Strong understanding of

data integration and API connectivity

across multiple business systems (preferably including Sage 50, Business Central, or equivalent ERP software). Familiarity with

secure web development practices

(authentication, encryption, role-based access). Competent in

JavaScript, Power Fx, REST APIs, and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)

within Power Platform environments. Knowledge of

Azure

,

Microsoft 365

, and

SharePoint integration

. Experience using

GitHub

or similar version control systems. Understanding of

information security frameworks (ISO 27001)

and/or working within regulated industries (defence, aerospace, or critical infrastructure). Strong problem-solving and documentation skills, with the ability to translate technical design into business-friendly insights.
