Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent position within our Deeside Manufacturing Factory. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic / knowledgeable skilled power press/CNC machine setter/operator.

The successful candidate must have knowledge of setting power presses up to 150 Ton with single op / ganged and progression tooling fed from blanks and coil

You will also need knowledge of punch / die changes, roll feeds, CNC machining and common tooling problem solving skills.

Knowledge of setting wire forming machines would be advantageous however training will be given on the setting on this type of equipment.

Essential

A good knowledge of press setting

An engineering background

Exceptional health & safety practices.

Power Press Safety & Operating pedestrian and counter-balance forklifts (training will be provided)

Duties will include

:

Running various power presses to achieve defined production & quality targets

Reading technical drawings and set power presses to produce a variety of standard and make to order building components

Load material, performing Tool changeovers, and SMED activities

Conduct first line maintenance tasks, undertake safety checks on guarding and equipment

Continuously improving production output, quality, and processes.

Maintain high housekeeping standards (5s) in your work area
